Family? Dennis Morris is Italian??? Or do they mean "famiglia" in the Scorsese sense? ;)

As for the Doug Ford Sr. swimming story, why would there be any record of it? He was a nobody back then -- not a rich man nor a politician. He certainly wasn't a member of any "swimming clubs" -- doubt he could afford that. Why would newspapers report on some poor kid from the east end trying to tag along? Really, I don't think it matters one iota.

Police allege Siad used a 24-year-old female student, Naimo Warsame, as a courier to transport that same weapon on a bus back to Toronto.

Weeks later, police raided Warsame’s apartment and seized the Taurus they believe she transported on the bus from Windsor, along with two assault rifles. The apartment raid, oddly, caused an interesting rift within the gang.
The cops busted through Warsame’s door around the same time Siad was picked up in Peel Region on a drug possession charge (those charges have been dropped.)
Some of the alleged gang members thought Siad had snitched on Warsame, according to police documents. Siad’s perceived untrustworthiness didn’t bode well for him weeks later, when news of the crack video broke and Liban Siyad (Gully) started getting threatening phone calls from Sandro Lisi because he’d dealt with him weeks earlier, when Ford’s cellphone went missing.
The guys in Dixon blamed Siad for bringing “heat†down on their neighbourhood, several sources have told the Star. “That guy’s an idiot,†said one.

There was a sense in the ITO that people were mad at Siad. They didn't know at the time that it wasn't that he was snitching -- it was that everyone was wire-tapped!

many people with nicknames were identified in the ITO, but Juiceman never was (I don't think it's in the redacted portions, or else there'd have to be a redacted few words every time the alias "Juiceman" appears, no?). But with all the wiretaps, surveillance and a sort of 'process of elimination' -- they must know who he is.

It’s hard enough to encourage our kids to have good behavior – be kind to others, don’t lie, apologize if you make a mistake or hurt someone, say “please” and “thank you.” How on earth do we shape kids’ respectful, self-disciplined behavior when they’re confronted with a daily barrage of “don’t try this at home” behavior by adult celebrities in sports, entertainment & politics?

Morris isn't a very Italian name.

1) Family doesn't marry family (these days). Could be the person joining the family is Italian.
2) Maybe it's just a destination wedding. Those happen.
 
The giant "Thanks for visiting Ford Nation: Home of Taxpayers" sign is finally gone! I noticed it in my drive up the 400 today. It's been replaced with an anti-Liberal sign.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to it once the provincial election is over.
