this one has info the national post said they couldn't share...

Vaughan murder may be linked to recent mob hit: Source

just in case this becomes relevant...

... if that same officer stopped to have a coffee at one (of many) of these little mafia style hangout-coffee shops?

I refer to this particular incident:

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/suspect-in-vaughan-targeted-killing-sought-by-police-1.2668382

The incident happened at a coffee shop is around the corner from my office – and – with each of it’s previous owners I was comfortable going in there and buying Jerk Chicken, or Indian Food, or a Coffee (business’ were not doing well at this location, low traffic). But, when this tenant came in the clientele that were notably questionable (not questionable enough for me to “call the cops†per say) but certainly would have been worth while if the police officers that attended the Tim Hortons (literally three buildings down the road) paid them a visit, you know, welcome them to the neighborhood – find out what their business is. The only police presence in the neighborhood though is in the form of a 3 officer police trap at Woodstream and Highway 7 where cars tend to go fast downhill going to the intersection, and are easily caught speeding.

I am Partypants!!!

I for one do not have to act on empathy or sympathy unless I want to, I like others on this board are capable of logical choices. That is what separates us from people like Robbie.

No matter what, if Robbie cannot grasp cause and effect, or be aware/conscious of others then he has problems above the so called treatment at the resort.

I didn't insult everyone on the thread. I said that if you can't feel empathy then you have a problem. I stand by that statement, but I'm not here to talk about empathy, I'm here to talk about Rob Ford. Feel free to PM me with how little you care about Rob Ford as a person or that you think pedophiles are not actually people. I won't read it, but it will save other people from having to sift through it when looking for discussion about Rob Ford.

I'm sorry, but what a complete pile of dung. I'm sure the vast majority of us can feel empathy or sympathy.. just not for fully-grown man child who acts the way he does. Since you're going to insult us by saying we have a problem just because we can't empathsize with fofam, I'm gonna say you're a spineless pussy and that's your problem.

from Forum directly:

In a straight-up two way race between John Tory and Olivia Chow, the latter wins with close to half the vote (47%) to 4-in-10 for Tory (39%). In this race, one seventh don't know who to support (15%) and these are mainly Rob Ford supporters.

So it hasn't even occurred to the core of Ford Nation to considered anyone else... wow.

28% is mind boggling. Would killing someone get him up to 35%?

Well said.

When I saw the poll this morning, I was asking myself "why is Rob Ford staying in the race?". The answer, of course, is that he's Rob Ford. Not to mention that his his campaign manager and douchebag brother, the former drug dealer (so says the Globe and Mail) Doug Ford is pushing him around.
