Rob rarely misses an opportunity to show up, pose for pictures and say how great something is, even if he voted against it or didn't bother to show up for the vote. It's more about the publicity and the gladhanding.

No kidding - case in point - Union Station. His ability to simultaneously (and falsely) claim that he supports a project while complaining about it being a waste is brazen - but you already knew how brazen he can get. It's enabled by a genpop who isn't necessarily well informed about civic affairs.

Why? Are you currently one?

I just ... couldn't support a man who has the kind of "friends" he has, coupled with the homophobic, racist, sexist he made. The comments about Karen Stintz were just ... so gross. I am embarrassed for his still core supporters.

No offense though - it wasn't like these disgusting comments of his were an unknown prior to his candidacy in 2010. There is a liberal amount of willful ignorance on the part of the soft supporters back then, and it makes one question their judgement in general.

On top of everything else, this is another thing that needs to be fixed ASAP.

City Hall security needs to stop being used as the Secret Service Goonsquad.
The ones that defied the MINO's orders absolutely needs to be protected.
But enough of this crap already. MINO ain't the Pope, and CH security is not the papal guards.
