Are these connected? There's other clips associated with that second link if you click on the guy's name. Seems like they went to see Rob at Fort York where he was a no-show. Then there's another (most recent) clip of Rob phoning a girl back to wish her Happy Birthday (second most recent clip seems to feature ummm belly-dancing - not likely what you're thinking - probably best to skip). Looks like she's on the same phone from the deleted Instagram screen cap? So these guys were possibly prank calling Rob on his home number (416-233-6934) or maybe there's more than one party pranking him at the same time? But hey - he called back...to wish her Happy Birthday in the middle of the night.

if Chris Farrugia is this Chris Farrugia...

then there might be a football / sports therapy connection.

part of how rob ford 'does it'...

The Metaphor Mayor: Rob Ford rides a wave of figurative language

Such language may be most useful to two politicians whose core constituency, numerous polls suggest, is composed of people with little education. The Fords’ words simplify complex problems into bite-sized morsels ready-made for people who pay little attention to council sausage-making.

“Political psychologists sometimes talk about how metaphors are used as cognitive ‘shortcuts’ for voters who are less educated and informed on the specifics of issues,” says Taylor.

“We have here food metaphors, we have a lot of sports metaphors, we have war metaphors. And those are all visceral, easy to digest — if you’ll excuse the metaphor — images,” says Rose.

Particular Ford phrases have particular uses. The football metaphors remind voters of the mayor’s past as a volunteer youth coach — and suggest tenacity and strength. The food metaphors remind voters that he is a big man comfortable in his own skin. The war metaphors portray him as a heroic lone soldier — and simultaneously vilify his opponents as belligerent aggressors.

“I think the use of sports, religion, and us-versus-them metaphors goes beyond creating the appearance of being homespun or authentic, which in itself may be a strategy to mask their wealth and privilege,” says Taylor. “It is also about creating the terrain on which the political contest occurs.”

All without having to explain much of anything.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford entered rehabilitation in late April of 2014, not late May.

grrrr! no... you had it right the first time!

and...

Ford said in February that he “can’t wait for the debates.†In 2013, though, he said he planned to be more selective than he was in the 2010 election.

http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/201...es_dark_personal_days_at_trade_show_talk.html

but, but, but... in 2014 he said...

"I’ll go debate right now, any time, any place. I’ll be ready in five minutes, all they have to do is tell me a date and a place,"

instead of highlighting something that kinda gives him an out, wouldn't that be a better quote to bring up?!? grrrr...

continuing with kojo... i didn't know this happened until right now...

Shooters in Malvern mom’s murder were venting anger over 2013 homicide: police

Police say the two men accused in a brazen shooting that killed a Malvern mother of four were venting their anger over a fatal shooting that took place a year ago in the same community.

Det. Sgt Hank Idsinga said on the night of the shooting, Michael Davani, 21, and Alwayne Bigby, 23, attended a memorial for Kwado “Kojo†Mensah who was shot in the chest and died at a housing co-op near Morningside and Old Finch avenues on the evening of April 26, 2013.

Idsinga said it is believed that following the memorial the two men drove to the Forest Creek Pathway co-op where Mensah was killed and fired shots at the home of Andrea White.

“There were six shots fired. They were in the direction of Ms. White’s residence and the residences adjacent to hers,†said Idsinga.

White was in the garage of her townhouse on Forest Creek with family and friends when she was hit by gunfire from a passing SUV.

Not for long, IMO. From what I've seen, Rob has given up on many issues when he loses at council. If he loses on Oct. 27, I think he'll give a sporting "no shame, we did our best" speech, like a good coach should.

I think you'll find he'll order everyone who voted for him to roll around in goose shit.

Which they'll probably do.

It's rather funny; the IHTWOMRF crowd is currently on a rampage over at "Ford Voters Against Rob Ford". Sue Wilson, Barb Corbett, Glenn Zembal and Neil Flagg himself… All attacking the site with the belief that the page owner is Paul Benoit (despite no logical reason to believe such).

While both Pro- and Anti-Ford sides like to throw around terms like "meltdown" and "frothing at the mouth", the virulence with which they're attacking the page merits those descriptors.

Wow. That is something to behold. These people really do swoop in like flying monkeys and proceed to fling feces everywhere. Having only taken rare forays into the Outer Insania that is IHTWOF, I would have to say they're flinging the double-plus good stuff on that particular page. Just insane. One person actually wished this Benoit guy was beaten to a bloody pulp.

Also, they do in fact use 'Bwahaha'. It's like they're all Count Chocula or something. What's up with this 'bwahaha' anyway?

do they happen to back this up with any proof?

It's Frank...proof isn't exactly their thing.

But they are well-connected in Ottawa, and have broken lots of stories first that eventually come out in mainstream media. I doubt that will be the case here (unless one of the media outlets has gone the FOI route, which would take months). I'd guess that this crossed the desk of just enough civil servants that no one was worried about being fingered as the leak. Civil servants hate doing the dirty work on political favours.

Nice job, red-haired girl! The incompetent lying bigot dared to show up at the Cabbagetown Festival. If I'd still been out on Parliament Street, by now I'd likely have been arrested.
