This whole thing just stinks to high heaven.

Doug, being Rob's campaign manager, has had access to Rob's contributor list, any of the voter research they've done, etc. All of it has been his for free. Any of the knowledge from polls conducted by Rob's campaign that asked questions about Doug has been free to his campaign. I can't believe how much arrogance these guys have to screw with the system like they do.
 
Some random thoughts:

1.) It's all about Ego with the Fords. They've compared themselves, without a hint of irony, to the Kennedys. Incredibly presumptuous, that, coming as it is from a clan of jumped-up, nouveau riche white trash hillbillies. As such, I honestly think they've put Thug forward in the campaign for Mayor because they think he has a shot. It has nothing to do with "protecting" Slob (they couldn't care less about him), and everything to do with conserving the family name brand. But if Thug gets his ugly ass kicked big time in the upcoming election, won't that still be seen as a repudiation of Baby (Whale) Brother's term in office?

2.) Similarly, if Andray Domise actually wins Ward 2, won't the look on Slob's face when the votes are counted be absolutely priceless? "But...but...but...!" I hope someone will be filming his reaction. Of course, it probably won't come to that. Sigh. But one can hope...

3.) There's no way Mutey hasn't been complicit in all this, and any minor sympathy I might have had for him for (potentially) being a helpless pawn of his family has flown out the window.

4.)The entire city is being held hostage by this one family of jackals, and their misguided - and downright insane - ambitions. Will this latest scam finally, finally get people to take the kid gloves off, and start treating these shameless creeps as they bloody well deserve?

Gosh, What's the FMV for a bunch of used "XYZ for MAYOR" signs once you've dropped out?

$0?

Unless someone else named XYZ comes along and agrees to take them off your hands at a bargain price.

No wonder he was so worked up about Stintz supposedly stealing it.

Having a hard time believing a doctor - or anyone - told Rob he wasn't healthy enough to run for mayor ' ... but councillor? Go for it!'.

The 2014 election signs are not used. (The 2010 ones would have gone to landfill years ago.) FMV would be what Doug's campaign would have paid for them from an arm's-length printer.
