This is very true! Ever since he got elected, all he did was run for 2018 and now he finally focuses on something to do with his ward.

Except that now, when he gets a rare chances to score some money from the developers that he could pour right back into his community, he's proposing in the CP24 interview that they distribute it all around the city. Maybe his constituents thinks it's cool to have an ex-mayor as councillor, but it's not doing them any good at all.
