Distilled and bottled? What exactly does that mean? Whiskey?

Bestman? One word?

And doesn't this guy have enough friends? Why is the future father in law opening it up to the public?

From the Bestman earlier this month. Interesting...

@robyndoolittle Just finished reading ur book. Couldn't put it down. Thot it was well researched and really interesting. Good work!

Count on the Fords. Keepin it classy AND egalitarian. How often can just folks piss it up with Kennedys?

Hey, Jimmy T, you going? Hope someone pisses in the shrubberies.

e) Gord Downie is a *notoriously* militant socialist; making the likelihood of the band showing up to a Ford party any time after June 8, 1995 (the Election where neocon Doug, Sr. got his backbench seat), even more unlikely.

OTOH remember that the Hip's co-manager in those days was Tory pollster/pundit Allan Gregg--who'd probably have been in a position to pull strings or have his strings pulled.

Depends a bit on what early Ford Fests were like (to say nothing of the chronology thereof)--if they were benign-enough Tory versions of Joe Foti's Liberal affairs, then a Hip appearance might have made sense, at least if we're to think of the party at large rather than the Fords in particular...

Doug Ford Sr. headlined Ford Fest with Hendrix in 1968 but was unable to complete the guitar solo.
well I can't hold that against him; his fingertips were all wrinkled up and pruney from swimming across Lake Ontario with Marilyn Bell.

Best part of all... the Fords are getting someone else to pay. So clever. So cheesy. BARF!!!

None of their "elegant backyard BBQ" fundraisers to try to retire Doug's campaign debt worked, so they're hijacking the kids' events. I also wonder what happened to Rob's eBay items.

Somehow, the idea of their being open about it being a *stag* <harrumph> "gentleman's dinner" seems a little creepy. Almost like they'd not be averse to marketing their honeymoon tape, either.

Incidentally, how old is Dave Haynes? Something about him seems like he'd be closer to Doug than Krista, age-wise...
(did someone say this already?) love how it's one gentleman's dinner, not a gentlemen's dinner. also makes me think of this...

and based on info found in here: http://strong-athlete.com/strong-profile-dave-the-juggernaut-haynes/ combined with this...
