Good to hear that Renata is keeping in touch with Rob's oldest and dearest friends. Especially the ones that can provide brown envelopes when required.

"SANDRO LISI IS READY TO SPEAK TO YOU NOW"

"He will, however, offer that he spoke to him on the phone shortly before he died. And that he has seen Brownie, the puppy whom Ford's wife and children got not long after."

All this time he was just a good friend with a passion for politics--who knew?

Good grief, does this mean we have to listen to his bs for the next 2 years?
"Doug Ford mulling another mayoral run"
http://www.torontosun.com/2016/08/27/doug-ford-mulling-another-mayoral-run
Ford said Rob left a surplus of $156 million when he left the mayor’s office — and Tory has allowed that to evaporate.
Does this include the sunk costs for transit expansions/upgrades or the ONE BILLION! mystery debt from 2013?

Dougie has been whistling this tune since his, IMO, crushing defeat to Tory. The election was the Fords to lose and they did it spectacularly. Autismgate, cancer-4-votes, apoligypoloosa... the list is long and quite noted to why they fell from power.

I do have an interesting question for Dougie, Will you feel safe putting your part ownership and it's control in a third, and neutral party?

One last thing... I thought Blizzard was the number one on the provincial desk, with SAL her awkward understudy?

Given the quick-substitution circumstance, 33.73% vs 40.28% was hardly a crushing defeat done spectacularly. In fact, it was around the upper end of what was projected/expected of Doug's bid.

If you want truly crushing/spectacular defeats, consider all those Ford/Flagg-endorsed Council candidates.

Then we must agree to disagree; knowing the Fords sensibilities it is would not be out of line to say they were the Great Might Hype. Numbers are meaningless when dealing with idol worship.

Though they could be spun into "meaningful". Like, remember how Ford/Flagglandia Council candidate Paul Bell was being spammed as the stiffest challenge yet to Ward 33's Shelley Carroll, "you can't beat the Ford message" etc etc? Well, he wound up in third place with 13% to Carroll's 60.5%--but still boasted of his result in subsequent IHTWOMRF posting, "we got 2097 people voting for us; impressive, huh?", that sort of thing...
