Even when he was at his worst, I don't recall many people here outright wishing for his death. Most of us would have been perfectly happy just seeing him get arrested. We should feel bad? Naw.... did I wish him any harm? NO. Did I wish he would seek help, YES. Did I think he was a lying gas bag? YES.
Yes he is a victim but has only himself to blame. He took advantage of his status, lied and connived, intimidated people around him, refused to admit he had a substance problem.
Did I laugh? Yes, but only at the way this situation was handled.
That's true. The main thrust in most of the international news stories I recall seeing was "How did this city we all thought was sane and forward-thinking elect someone like this? And could it happen here?"Jimmy Kimmel tried to give him advice and Robbie laughed at that *joke*, but then again Rob was pretty tanked at the time.
All council could do was try to get Wynne to intervene. Councilors got a chance to express their concern about the mayor's behavior but didn't do it till the vote to strip him of his "powers".
And the world wasn't laughing at Rob, they were laughing at us!

I think he's just trying to clarify that Rob receiving "palliative" care isn't new. He's been receiving it for weeks, if not months.Huh?

I think it's time for the reporters and Dan Jacobs to sit down with some medical experts and sort out the vocabulary for what they are trying to say.
So that means he called the room once to talk to Randy? For what it's worth:
“Family members have been with him around the clock,” Ford’s brother and former city councillor Doug told the Star. “I have been at the hospital for the last five days and nights by his side."

Dan jacobs makes absolutely no sense, although palliative care can also mean "care to comfort patient to promote recovery" in this case case it certainly sounds it is "end of life". With Ford being unconscious and receiving pain/sedation medication little hope for full recovery is slim.
Will this impact Brazen 2 at all? Doesn't sound like they needed his testimony but the will may not be there to keep chasing Lisi...
