What about the fact Ford's drug use put him and the city at risk of exploitation for criminal gain? How is that NOT an election issue? If Tory can't see that he's not fit for the office.

It's Clueless!! Again: Matt Lauer called him on this very thing, and he had absolutely no way of defending himself. Watch the clip, at 3:10:

Essentially: What happens if a terrorist attack happens during your ‘personal time’ and you are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs?

Rob Ford: "I'm very fortunate that has never happened".

C'mon. How much more ammo do the other candidates need? Ford has left himself wide open to a huge attack on this front.

Makes me feel lousy for wearing my off-duty pager after 9/11 back when I was riding the gravy train. Should have left it in my locker.

The fake signs have had a huge media impact. Adweek, Esquire, Mashable, Slate, The Week, all in a matter of a few hours...

The reaction proves definitively that the world is watching, and that anyone with a smart, funny, pointed, professionally deployed Anti-Ford message is going to get noticed--locally, nationally, and internationally.

The world may never take "Crazy Town" seriously again.

I do think they need to assess all the factors, it's their job. There's no rush to expand, the planes aren't even ready.

Ah, okay, that is very different from advocating for an IMMEDIATE approval. I believe many feel the same way. Let's get the facts laid out and decide on the noise factor when the plane is ready.

The only reason, it seems, for pushing for an approval now is the small matter of Deluce's downpayment commitment to Bombardier. That is his problem. Not anyone else'.

This coverage is great!! The signs may have been removed but the intended effect has been achieved.

Good to hear, however most people including me have never heard of these media. It would be nice to see a story on the Toronto Star or Toronto Sun.

Never heard of Slate or Esquire? Uh ok.
Anyway i just assumed the obvious.
That is, that everyone already knows that the sign story is being covered by all the Toronto papers, as well as CBC, 680, Global, CP24 etc.

Personal involvement in local politics through direct action and civil disobedience.
As simple as sitting at city hall, holding up a ‘Doug, that's not true’ sign or creating your own Ford Nation fridge magnets.

This is how we can get our voices heard and our difficult questions asked.
