I'm guessing Doug got a list of calls to residence w/out much info otherwise. Given the habit of police to let border services know of suicide calls etc, why should we doubt police would give a vague list of calls to Doug? I wonder what would happenif I, not as a reporter or public service figure, made a request for the info on a residence in my neighbourhood - would they hand over the info?

I was on the phone today to a Big Hollywood Producer and we were talking about the RoFo story, which has provided me with much material over the last few months (I'm a screenwriter) and he said "Well, if you're going to do the Rob Ford story, you should do it as a musical. I'm serious."

And he was. And I THINK HE MIGHT BE RIGHT.

If he could just find a way to lock her into the trunk of a car for the next four months...

"She’s not Mother Goose" Doug Ford on Integrity Commissioner wanting councillors not to "demonize" each other.

Rob Ford is an individual who, if he did not exist, could not be imagined.

Just thought I would put this out there, in case anyone is interested:

I was surprised to see that there are large areas of the city that do not have one.

We have found ours to be quite effective in dealing with elected members from all levels of government.

Pretty surprising that Riverdale doesn't have a residents association.

I pay $20 per year to the Bloor West Village Residents Association. It's sort of like paying dues to a union or professional association. The BWVRA deals with the politicians, so we don't have to. :)

All the characters should be cats. Singing gangster cats. Except for Lisi, of course. ;)

150(ish) years ago this would have been an opera. Think Carmen with Ford Nation stepping into the role of the namesake seductress and RoFo as Don José. Although I'm having trouble sorting out Escamillo, I'm sure someone will step up soon...

That's great! Could you or members of your association tutor others on how to be so effective? Although our own has been reasonably *heard*, "listened to with genuine political heft" is another matter. So your experience(s) would be invaluable.
