Gives us a good idea of what RoFo will look like in 5-10 years if he continues his lifestyle (assuming it doesn't kill him first)

WTH is under her jacket above her right hip? It seems too high to be a fat bulge. It's like she's carrying another bag under her coat or something. Nevermind, I don't really care..........

You know, I kinda like this guy. Freedom of speech and all that. I hope he doesn't get booted for singing.

Can't tell his age from the pictures, but I wonder if this is the same Jim McMillan that ran for office in the 1979 federal election in the Beaches riding. He lived on Greenwood Ave. near Danforth and I remember him running around the area with hand written signs like the ones here. He was in favour of bringing back capital punishment and I recall one of my school teachers nicknaming him "Hang 'Em High Jim". I thought it was funny that one of his signs was made from a Tuffy Toilet Seat box.

He always seemed to run for office, I can remember these two off hand:

Actually, I'mm 99% sure it's the same Jim McMillan that ran for mayor in 2010 (and possibly same guy you're referencing). I remember seeing him on Yonge St. hanging up posters, and also on the subway serenading me and my wife with that version of This Land is Your land. :)

There is no singing allowed as it is a workplace. He is VERY loud and I'm not surprised he was told to keep it down. I don't have a problem with freedom of speech but I have a problem with bullshit and his comments about being stalked by The Star and CP24 are untrue. Let's not even get into "someone shoved the pipe in his hands". Kool aid has been consumed in large quantities here.

He told the sit-in (the OTHER one!) that he was born in 1933. Not sure about anything else about him but hey, if he has $200 to spend on this, go for it!

Aside-if you pull out of the race do you get your money back?

I searched the Toronto Star archives for the 1954 Lake Ontario swim.

Lots on Marilyn Bell, but I saw nothing about "Douglas Ford" or "Doug Ford". Not saying it's not true, but I couldn't find any evidence of it in the Star's 1954 online archives.

Also, if DoFo Sr. was born in 1933 ( according to Wikipedia ), that would have made him 19 in 1954.
