Should add to the list D Ford's ongoing feud with Kym Geddes of 1010....going back awhile on The City D Ford said paraphasing here "its her time of the month".... on another occasion qustioned her mental stability...also didn't he make some offhand derisive comment directed at her during the debate she moderated last week....I know, I know he accuses all 1010 moderators of bias

Doug is right in a way---most people are biased against the Fords. I mean, most people are biased against evil idiots, so it stands to reason they'd be biased against the Fords.

Didn't want to start a new thread; being that this is the most active "Toronto Issues" thread, I'll post here... No talk on UT about what happened on Wednesday in Ottawa? Not a peep? No opining, linking or referencing? Are we that into ourselves that not one comment has spewed forth about what happened in our nation's capital? What a waste of a forum with I'd guess a few thousand members... It confirms a lot of bad stereotypes about Torontonians, IMO... When does an attack on our country become a "Toronto" issue? Oshawa? Scarborough?

My wife's especially shook up by the whole thing. Her brother's a Mountie so whenever something happens to a man in uniform it hits home for her.

Up thread someone mentioned Cachet, which makes me wonder why the Star killed the story on the escort service, IIRC there were hints that it was linked to Ford and it was being used as a drug delivery service along with the escorts. The Star was dropping all sorts of hints and then nothing.

I'm sure they've interviewed an escort or two who claims to have serviced him but you need solid proof to run a story like that. I haven't heard of them delivering drugs to him.
