I spent a day exploring Segovia. With a high-speed train connection from Madrid, it was a breeze to get there. The blue skies followed me, and with a cool October breeze, I was off ready to be amazed.

1. As the bus went down the hill, I wondered how they could build this massive aqueduct so long ago.

11. At this point I didn't know I would emerge from here at the end of the day.

45. Are the thick shades for blocking out the steamy afternoon sun?

46. These greenhouse boxes probably wouldn't stand well when the sun shines on them.

Segovia,Spain - A neat place full of classic Spanish architecture...

HKS: Good tour of Segovia,Spain-the weather could have not been better!
That classic Spanish architecture stands out vividly there! LI MIKE

I was in Spain only once, for about three weeks, and it was great. The big difference was that I went in high summer, and the heat was an issue.

Never made it to Segovia, although if I would have had another few days there it would have been on my list. But I did stay for four to seven days in each of Toledo, Seville, Granada and Cordoba, so the images you posted are instantly recognizable to me as a Spanish town.

Still, if I ever go back, Segovia will be on my must-see list. Your images have settled that for me.
