Damn ANSWERMAN543 won his battle and I am truly a sucker for working and paying taxes. Time to regroup and plan to take over the world, I mean this plaza, another day.
According to David Shiner's latest Community News, the property owner has withdrew their application for rezoning. The files are closed and there is no request for changes to the plaza at this time.
That's really too bad, as I think Skymark Plaza can most certainly use some redevelopment. Despite the NIMBYers, I also hope another proposal moves forward with something that will the majority of people will welcome to this busy corner.
