What I want to see is someone buying a crate of 24 PS3s that's immediately thrown into a garbage truck and compacted.

The PS3 makes a pretty powerful desktop PC. I was thinking of getting one for that purpose. As a PC it is a real bargain.
 
The cell processor on the P3 uses PowerPC instructions and has 7 active processors and one spare that is disabled. The P3 also comes with an "Other OS" loader on it so without hampering your ability to run games a full OS can be installed. I was joking with a co-worker how crazy our server rack space would look with an array of PlayStations rather than our normal HP rackmounts and blades.
