It's that time of year where the winds become a little unpredictable. Most of the flight missions today were cancelled when they kicked up sooner than I had hoped but I did manage this shot while on the way to work. I can't tell if it is a Nissan Leaf or not but man that thing burned out! This was on the QEW at Hurontario.

Filing some of my November 23rd photos, I noticed a bunch of portable classrooms at the brand new Elm Public school. The school opened just a year ago after a full tear down and rebuild. There are ten portables already!
You can follow the building thread here for many demolition and construction photos. Between me and the late @Jasonzed, I think we covered it pretty well!

Great images! I want to go to the area of single family houses and see if there are any changes happening as they are adjacent to so much growth!

I took advantage of the calmer wind conditions yesterday and shot a few things from home ;)
It looks like the first footings are in for the new UTM residence:

Continuing the theme from the other day of various views of the MCC, today we are focusing from the west. Creditview rd is in the foreground with Erindale GO visible on far right.

I took the drone with me today but it was too windy to fly. I did take a few ground based shots with the Nikon P950. I don't take the P950 out as often as I should. First shots are from J.C. Saddington park in Port Credit

Miserable weather today but still managed to fly two batteries over four flights and 35 minutes of air time. Some shots of the day.

Cawthra and Atwater on a gusty cold Saturday. Excavation continues at 725 Village Green Blvd (foreground.) I'm not sure what was happening at Cawthra Secondary School (middle) but both parking lots were jammed. The expansion and renovation of Carmen Corbassen Community Centre (background) is almost done and on track to open next year.

There was craft show at the school Saturday and Sunday. Must have been popular!

Took advantage of a break in the low level cloud around lunchtime yesterday and flew 47 minutes over 17.5km.

Glen Erin and Burnhamthorpe looking east. The old road alignment, pre-subdivision housing, is clearly visible with Rogers road and Burbank drive on the other side of Erin Mills Parkway. Probably worth a separate post with some of the old 1975 aerials showing the area before it changed in 1980 and Burmnhamthorpe was extended west over the Credit River..

December 13th-I thought it was a good day for a couple of panos. I rarely shoot them and it seems most people around here don't like them but I think these two turned out well.
