I'm curious. There seems to be a lot of spammers lately, or posts with nonsensical content by new posters.

What gives? Just the increased popularity of this site is generating more spambot hits?

One interesting note is that at least one I've seen recently didn't actually have any spam (in the main post or in a sig)... yet.
