God, what an idiot. Can you imagine how many UI we will have to contribute to feed these fired GO bossess if that's the case? Doesn't he know that GO train delay is everyday news?

I'm not being rhetorical or sarcastic. I'm asking, was the transit system fine under Peterson and Rae? I seem to remember fare hike after fare hike from the mid 1980s throughout my school years until I left the city in 1992 for uni.

Honestly I don't about that, maybe you know better. I think fare hikes don't tell the whole story. Just look the service cuts the TTC made after Mike Harris was elected:
