You must remember that every Apple press release and Jobs' personal release until now has been that he's fine, okay, dandy, peachy, doing well. Maybe Apple and Steve should remember that next time, and just be honest from the beginning.
A press release was provided concerning why he received a transplant in the time that he did. Your "doubts" sound like sour grapes. One gets the impression that you'd have been quite happy had he died.
As for disclosures on health issues, it's really not anyone's business. Health and health records are a private matter. They should be kept that way.
BTW, hydrogen, if you actually read what was said, I wish Steve Jobs well and a speedy recovery. Not sure how that translates into wishing him dead, but okay, whatever.
