I was surprised at wht I saw on Thursday considering where they were in Aug. I was expecting to see the first floor now.

Now they are on the main tower section, they should be doing a floor a week. I like the stone work that has been installed since my April visited and can't wait until my next visit in June. Standard glass framing design that can be found on all types of condos in Toronto.

Thanks for the update, Drum. Great progress on this one and I appreciate how it will greet the street - something that is uncommon for this part of Burlington. Should be an above average development once it is complete. The Molinaro Group has really taken off in downtown Burlington with 5 or so tall apartment buildings in the last 10 years.

The base is turning out nicely with brick going up on the podium section. The tower should be top off when I am out there in July at the current rate of climb.

Too bad the base is set to far back from the street edge.

On the contrary.

Separate podium from tower and continue brick to ground. Remove stone base and discard in safe manner. String one (1) small glass canopy over of three (3) glass-mullioned, at-grade retail units and circle structure with funky paving pattern.

In just a few easy steps, you've got a recipe for a cheap, easily-repeatable mid-rise which could fill many wanting sites in the downtowns of cities and towns all over Southern Ontario. Experiment with different heights and materials for exciting results! Call now!

They should have the yellow bricks up on the south end and the rest of the red brick on my Sept visit. The crane should be down at the end of Sept or early Oct.

It will be interesting to see what type of retail will go in here since there very little there now.

Surprised to see the tower crane was still there today as they very little left to be done in Oct visit. Should be gone by December.

The building will be 100% enclose come December.

Handrail framing is being install without the glass at this time.

Still wish they went with the yellow brick in various places as it would enhance the building more.

Need to build a few of these in Toronto that are taller than this one.

They are finally taking the tower crane down. They started to removed the counter weight and had place a few on the ground when the winds pickup to the point the lift was cancel for the day.

Only a small amount of brick work to be done, otherwise the building will be enclose for the winter to do the final interior work.

Glass is still missing for the baloney railing and don't expect to see that now until spring.

More shots up on the site
