Driving by the other day - the crane seems so tall for what was planned to be built.
I'll try upload some of the photos from the website. The townhouses were originally at the front but now condo 1 and condo 2 are right alongside mooneys with 'future residential' in the middle as mentioned above. Condo 1 and Condo are both 3 story towers that are connected by 1 story of underground parking. This is where most of the activity is happening now. The northside and southside towers will not be connected but will be 3 stories with 1 underground parking as well. The block townhouses (26 of them).
The Docks is a private development offering 110 units: 26 townhouses, and 84 condo units in 4 separate structures. There will be 2 bed, 1 bed+den and 1 bed units available.
The townhomes are currently designed as 3 bedroom freehold homes. All common services such as roads, sewer, power, garbage, landscaping will be private to the development and eventually become the responsibility of the home owners. Occupancy is expected in summer of 2026.
Architects of condo are Hobin and Jacqueline Greene. Architect of townhouses is Jacqueline Greene Architects. A sales center will be set up in one of the townhouses once built.
"dockside" I'm assuming this image is to make it look like they are waterfront...when clearly they aren't.
Townhouses also look nice but we should all expect the Ottawa bait and switch
They are all starting at either 850K (A1) or 899K (A3).
