It was just lipstick on a pig anyway.
Such a tone-deaf corporate exercise - "Hey folks, never mind all the inedible items on our menu and bottom-of-the-barrel coffee! Look at all these fancy pippypoos and doodads!"

It innovated itself out of existence. I wonder if anyone is going to write a report to see if any of the "innovations" percolated to the rest of the chain.

I don't know why someone in the Finance District would pay $4 for a "gourmet donut" when you could purchase a far superior, hand crafted pastry for the same price.
I never got the connection until just now that this was opened in the building where Tim Horton's moved its headquarters from Oakville, and right at the same time they moved in. This store was a play-thing for the head office staff, who probably got everything free, or at a steep discount. The Tim Hortons "Innovation Cafe" at 130 King West has closed:

On my twice or thrice daily wfh covid walk with the Missus I sometimes pop into Timmies to get a treat for the spawn, and we’re almost always disappointed with the lack of selection. What‘s the point of offering assorted Tim Bits if you only have three kinds? My mother commented last night that every time she went there the selection was minimal at best. Not worth a special trip and once the hype died down so did the traffic.
Personally I prefer me a sour cream glazed.

What a sad tale. Serious "cold brew" at Tim's - who are they fooling?

That is literally what their iced coffee is, by the way.It is probably just the same coffee they made 3 hours before. It will be cold at that point.

I wish I were joking.
