Our ezboard subscription expires at the end of August. We have two options:

1)&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp We purchase more time from ezboard and remain a separate forum. 6 months will cost $300 American or I can reduce the amount by allowing ads (pop ups) to flood the forum.
2)&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Jan has offered to take us in as part of the skyscrapaercity family of forums for free. This gives us use of the ikon board format but it does leave the door open to more trolls.

Which option should we choose?

How about getting your own server to host the forum on?

Option 1...I don't mind popup ads. Can just get a popup ad eliminator.

Option 2 would basically turn this into the Troll Central forum.

I like the forum the way it is. I'm willing to donate 10 cents (to a max of $50) for every member who donates anything. I.e., we now have something like 480 members, so I would contribute $48. But I'd like to see others participate as well...

Can you post those stats using the [ CODE ] tag, they are a bit hard to read with the non-even spaced font.

In any case, i'm willing to donate my share whichever route is chosen. I've already purchased EZ Supporter which supports the forum further, and allows me to browse this and other EZ forums without any ads!

Let's keep this forum on its own, ads or not. I like how you guys have total control.

Yes, "community supporters" (like myself) indirectly contribute to the board as our hits on the board do not count in the bandwidth calculations (which in turn, determines the costs). I also do not see ads even if the board has them. I nevertheless would donate to the board as I enjoy it so much.

I already donated some late last year, but I'd be quite happy to donate more as long as other people were doing the same. It would be nice to see that symbol beside a lot more people's names.

Last year, polarisTO made urban TO T-shirts that were sold to make this forum possible. If we find another way to slap our name on merchandise, that would be great. Also, we can start charging outside viewers (non-members) for looking at renderings. I would also be willing to donate twenty bucks, or so.
