I think after the Delta and Ice are complete they will make that area more interesting because the podium of ice is very creative and designed in a very nice way.

Shame they messed up the top at the last moment. I do like the cladding they are using for the mech, but I'll never understand why the glass sections are of uneven height.

By that I mean they should have added a 3rd gap between the glass cladding underneath the first two;

It gives off the appearance of uneven floors;

I would also have looked better if they had done away with the gaps altogether.

It's still too early to render a final judgement as far as I'm concerned—the balconies up here are not clad yet, and there are other finishing touches to go—so how can you tell what the final effect will be yet?

That said, that they have "messed up" is entirely subjective on your part, VS. When the budget allows, architects typically want the top of a building to be set apart from the bulk of the tower. Whereas you react negatively to what look like uneven floors to you, I see a cue that the building is finishing up with special detailing, and I appreciate the wide expanse of reflective glass. Not sure if there will be lighting in behind this section, but possibly the gaps are there for interesting nighttime effects.

Looking forward to the final glazing!
