The building's structure would interfere with a glassy look so they'll probably settle on a dynamic light show. White stone and Tiffany blue lentils would also be tasteful but boring conventional
It think the exterior could use a good power wash, it's looking fairly grimy, however I've always considered this one of the city's little mid century gems with its punched out window frames...
Yeah, I'm really unhappy with the way they're remodelling this building, it reminds me of the hackjob they did with the Yonge Eg Centre, but I expect better quality materials here given the client.
It's the same kind of thing where a brutalist (though more late modernist I suppose) building is being haphazardly redone, which is unfortunate.
