April, 2018
The development team had previously appealed the Zoning By-law Amendment application to the Ontario Municipal Board. A mediation meeting between the developer and the City of Toronto took place earlier this year. A formal update on the status of the OMB appeal is anticipated later in 2018.

Wow an angled roof. That’s really exciting, should help to break up the table top here a bit.

Thanks to Koop's renderings we can really get an idea on how an area is going to shape up in the future. We need more of these types of buildings in this location to break up the rectangular box look !

Another LPAT Mediation session is scheduled for June 28, and another pre-hearing is scheduled for September 28, 2018.

Oh, how unfortunate for the developers! Another victim of the mysterious old building arsonist. This bullsh*t has got to stop, it makes me so mad.

I like True Crime as much of the next guy, but is heritage preservation really one of the sticking points here? The developer intended on preserving the facade. This can likely be reconstructed post-fire. It’s hard to see why the developer would want to smoke damage their future sales centre.

I'm not aware of this. How many victims are there now? Must be in the dozens considering all the ongoing redevelopment.

Trust me, this wasn't intentional. It's way more of a headache to deal with than it is worth for reduced project costs, especially for a smaller building like this.
