Saw the bricks being demolished by hand very carefully this morning. Anyone know is they're being reused somewhere else in the new building?

This is great news! More housing and the builders thoughtful use of red punches of colour to give a nod to the existing commercial buildings history is super cool

I live very near this site. It is for for certain going through the demolition process. I have chatted with the workers.a few times. When construction begins I do not know. I hope immediately after. The lot a couple doors down (Post loft condos by 'The condo man') has been vacant and over grown for 5 years or more. It is a blight.
There is no fencing at that site plus people are throwing trash and someone set a camp fire there last year. I called the city but they said, well, basically nothing. I hope this doesn't happen at 1233 Queen St. E.
