No I think those beams do stick out, they're probably for signage, my guess would be a screen like the existing TD sign on top of Brookfield Place

I was thinking the exact same thing. Only that they're using a lot more steel supports for this then I would of anticipate.

Because of its chubbiness, this building looks shorter than CIBC Square and Sugar Wharf which have similar heights.

Noticed a few minutes ago that they appear to have added LED 'accent strips' beside the windows. Not sure it improves things but I will await completion.
