very good massing. a stocky building not pretending to be tall. it is what it wants to be. nicely references the bend in the road and will be a landmark along both axes.

that said am disappointed in the amount of window wall. what else is new.

screening at the west balconies is commendable.

Wow, that's a pretty significant development for Weston. It's great for providing density right next to a transit station. But I'm not seeing any commitments to affordable housing, for something in the middle 0f a neighbourhood improvement area. Hope to see something in that regard.

Every GO lot should be paid parking.

Most of the apartment buildings in Weston have affordable housing. The neighbourhood needs some higher-end options too for a better mix of incomes in the area.

The exact area this is being proposed in will have to involve buying out properties and demoloshing people's homes on that spot. There are also a couple of businesses on that exact property already.

Those properties are already purchased. What's the issue @Gejoba ?

It's not often we see proposals for properties that are not already owned by the developer… like just about never, essentially.

This will be a great addition for Weston Rd.
With regards to the affordable housing concerns......the developer will need to make a section 37 contribution in the form of affordable housing or can provide funding towards community benefits.
Either way, we are likely to see a small % of affordable housing.
