Update:
In 2014, Toronto's Entertainment District had one more condo on the market than the market could bear, and Great Gulf put its plans for Tux Condos at the southwest corner of King and Blue Jays Way back on the shelf. Three years later, a Site Plan Application has been resubmitted to the City, with a somewhat reworked design by Quadrangle. Great Gulf has dropped the name Tux, and now proposes to build 357 King Street West with rental apartments in place of condominium units.

Wow this is one very dense site on just 792 sq. metres of land with a 32.8x FSI.

Fantastic proposal.

Yup, more shameless advertising by agents who know nothing about the project.
The info/photos on that agent's site is not even correct or up to date.

Someday soon.

The Great Gulf sales pavilion building at 357 King Street West has now been emptied out - all furniture that could be seen has been removed. Final removal of utility connections and final clean up prior to demolition is still to be completed. A Priestly Demolition truck and some staff were were on site earlier today - actual demolition anticipated to start in approximately four weeks or so.

What a fun ride this has been. To those outsiders who suggest that condos are approved and built on a whim, consider that because of internal and external factors, this has been in 'process' for 6-7 years (PRE-construction).
