Mods Note:
The proposed development 3600 Hurontario Street consists of a 51-storey Condominium Apartment building with a total of 587 units and a Gross Floor Area (GFA) of36,498.2 square meters

The site going to committee of adjustment on Dec 14 to reduce parking from .8 to ,5 and visitors from .15 to .1 with the city opposing it. Gee!! only a short walk to the LRT stop and quick access to Sq One and Cooksville GO station or Port Credit station.

The south side where the drain and creek is has bee dug up to a point there is an trunk line running diagonal on about an 45 degree from the south east corner that connects to a box going under Hurontario St that is mostly bury at this time.

There was an easement apply for over a year ago or so that ran along the west side of the properly between the existing building to the west and the site. I guess it was for relocating that diagonal trunkline to connect to the new south end trunkline.

A few shots as the rest are being added to my backlog that just double in size with today 1.5 hour shooting secession.

It was either last year or 2022 that an application was made for an easement along the west side of the site with no explanation for why and I see why now. The Cooksville Creek trunk line run across the site and it needs to be relocated to build on the site. The work taking place is the first phase of relocating the trunk line as well deal with a creek on the southside. Now the westside work is done, backfilling is underway and once done, work can start on the west side.

most of the southside has been backfill with work still taking place at each end before it can be completely buried.

Large pipe sections for the drain system to go along the west side are now on site and that could start next week or the following week, depending on the outstanding work still to be done. Once that work is completed, it will connect to the existing system with the current connect at Hurontario be disconnected. The current line will be removed when excavation for the new development gets underway at some future date or maybe remove once the new system is in place.

The relocation of the trunk line is now completed, and it opens the door for the project to be marketed and then built.
