Always exciting to see a building rising above ground, which means changes will be seen on a weekly basis.
 
Yeah, me too. And on this stretch especially. For so long things have just felt grim on Church south of Carlton and north of, say, Dundas/Gerrard, maybe even Queen depending on your take on the strip of stores on the east side across from the church grounds/parking lot. This will go some way to animating the area and just making it feel a lot less forgotten.
 
These two are really going to transform this area. It's always seemed odd walking down Church once you get past Carlton. McGill and Granby are nice but the empty lots made it feel oddly vacant. Will be interesting to see how these change the feel. Hoping for good materials!

Church st gets crappiest when you hit Dundas (and Queen).
 
That is like most of the streets going South East of Yonge. When you hit Dundas, it turns pretty poopy...then you hit Jarvis and it starts to improve. Happy to see the East side get some love since there's a lot to work with. Hopefully Jarvis, Sherbourne, Church, Parliament get some TLC.
