Whenever plans are posted, which should be soon. I'm curious how they propose to service a 61 storey building here, on what is a very small lot.

The proposed 61 storeys building at 239.35 meters to feet ratio would put it a little over 785 feet. Making it about 78 storeys high with floor plates being ten feet high used in hotel and condo buildings. Or the same height as the Commerce Court West office tower at 57 storeys. This building is going to stand out !

They can't be serious with whatever that's even attempting to be. Seems like structural integrity or heck, physics, is outta the window for that. What could the east elevation (facing Yonge) be?

Unusual design: "Are they crazy? stupid design"

That kind of reminds me of those fake development boards that went up awhile ago, where outlandish additions were being proposed for landmark buildings.

Although, I could see this if there was some kind of transition between the two. Like, keeping the floorplates consistent at the transition, and then also keeping the punched window motif on the first few "diamonds", transitioning to more and more glass as it goes up.
