Not sure what happen at the OMB prehearing, but an sale office is being built on the Dundas W site at the east end.

If the Townhouse have won the day, there goes the neighborhood and putting density on Dundas in the first place.

Then, can it be for 86 Dundas W??
 
The Mississauga development map says townhouses, retail, and commercial so perhaps the buildings facing Dundas will be similar to the buildings at Hurontario and Lakeshore in Port Credit. There is a proposal to build some live/work townhouses on the west side of Confederation just south of Dundas so perhaps this is what the city wants to see for this area...

The land is being level to start construction.

A block away from the plan LRT line, on a major e-w corridor and this is what Conservatory Group there now without the 18s tower. 250 2-3 story townhouses
 
Is there any update on this project?

Looks like the site hasn't been touched since last summer or at least very little has be done.

Looks like some thing about to happen on site with a small crew looking things over today.

There has been no OMB hearings or orders since fall of 2018 and surprise at what work has been done while waiting for final order.

With all the new development applications in the area why wouldn’t the developer give back the few deposits and put together a proposal of towers.

Unless something has happen in the last 2 weeks, still dead in the water.

The current project is the wrong project for the site, but how many more plans have to surface for something to be built on the site??

My read is that until there is an ruling by the OMB, the current plan is on hold or DOA.

With the plan on hold, some deposited will be given back.

As for building tower for the current area, they would have to be in the mid rise range done in phases as there is no way you can built the whole site at once given the track record for the land in the first place., Taller towers would be more toward Hurontario.

By the looks of things, that strip plaza to the east of the site on Dundas only is being remodel and upscale.
