A lot of people are going to be asking questions of what's going on here.

The city can be secretive not that much longer.

The Joke continues...

Photos of the site below. It looks like there’s a rectangular foundation in the middle, is it possible it’s old fottings/foundation from the movie theatre that was once there? Also, they’re filling the site with what looks like shale or concrete, any reason why they would be filling it? I’d assume they would need to excavate for parking?

That does look like it could be the back wall of the old driving school that was on the east side of the theater. Hard to tell by looking at the photo on my phone after digesting a very large Argentinian steak and accompanying Malbec!

Now home from the South America/Antarctica trip and I shot the site this morning. The photo by @Mnello does show the eastern portion of the foundation from the Westwood theatre. It is almost visible as the raised diagonal shape in my December 11th post. Photos to follow once I finish with my January 1st photos.

Any reason why the DB title shows 5207 Dundas West but the site address shows 925 Kipling avenue? This probably needs to be updated.

Ladies and Gentleman - finally under construction!!!!

Is the ramp made of shale going around the permitter to level the land so they can shore properly? Seems like a lot of shale that was brought in. Curious why wouldn’t they level it by removing soil rather then adding

The database page has been flipped to under construction, and the primary address has been corrected to 5207 Dundas Street West. Also, this had a resubmission in January with an increase in bicycle parking from 719 to 758.
