July 2 - Occupancy proceeding while finishing touches to the exterior are underway. For a building of its size and prominence, the main entrance still feels on the underwhelming side.

Good enough for what used to be an ugly ass warehouse!

The building was only ugly as when 555 Richmond was built, the post and beam warehouse was reclad to mirror 555 building exterior. Inside, the post and beam building was quite spectacular, with an atrium, and a number of open facing offices. Except for the basement, which housed an underground nightclub and a sweatshop like clothing manufacturing operation. A real pity to loose the building for its ground and above ground floors. (I worked there on one contract, and was actually inside the building when the Ottawa earthquake of 2010 struck)
