I had fully read this thread...but the fact is, this project is now 16+months after breaking the ground, and they are still a ways from beginning the actual building process. Almost no other developer takes this long to excavate a hole. Clearly someone started the work a little bit too early on this project.
 
So are those existing units going to be looking onto a building maybe 6ft away?

1 September 2012: My god this hole is deep! I know it's a controversial development but exceptions should be made for exceptional architecture. This one is likely Freed's best, and perhaps, the city's best-looking condo project...ever!
