It's incredibly reassuring when projects like this actually turn out as proposed. It's especially amazing since it's not in a stand-out location or anything. The best cities in the world have exceptional architecture around unsuspecting corners. Glad to see we're getting more of that!
 
I have to say, I wasn't too excited about this from the renders. But wow. It is looking great so far. I've got to get down there to see this in person.
 
The way that "glass curtain" is going to float above the restored rooflines of those old Victorians. Perfection. This is the best scenario for this block's future, no questions about that. I can't think of enough good things to say!
 
Unitized curtainwall supplied by Global Architectural Metals from Welland Ontario. Recently completed Freed's The Thompson Residences but do most of their work in New York.

This project is just gorgeous, a beautifully clean and simple design that looks to be getting executed as well as it deserves. I hope the ground level ends up as well-designed and -executed as the rest. If it does, I bet this project ups the ante for every remotely similar project to come after it. Awesome work.
