HP is really doing some great things in this city. Hopefully it's pushing other firms to step their game up.

Agreed. I find HPs work to be more diverse than Aa's too, Aa consistently produces quality products but many of them can feel repetitive. Not all (Brant Park is a great example), but many.

Ice stands out a mile from their usual rectilinear designs. I wish Clewes would show more of that sense of adventure more often.

Clewes delivers on what the developers want and adventure doesn't really suit 500 square foot homes. I agree and wish aA was less of a design factory for developers.

HP is certainly more diverse which isn't saying too much. They seem to be connected to suppliers of curtain wall which is good. There are things with nearly everyone of their designs that makes me cringe though.

The "problem" with aA is that it has now became the sort of "go-to" for developers who want something decent but are fundamentally conservative (there are exceptions) - it lost the edge of the early years.

This is really coming along. There is now glazing installed on the level just below the ones with the beautiful curved glass.

Just imagining a 50+ storey tower with this design and glass....that would be something!
