That low-rise office complex to the left is perhaps my least favorite building in Toronto, in part because it sits on such a prime site.

I think the same thing every time I walk by that place... There is so much potential to be taller and/or more interesting

Agreed. Of all the buildings Toronto has lost over the years, the Board of Trade is one of the most painful.

The Board of Trade building was located one block south of 88 Scott St. on the NEC of Yonge and Front. You can just make out old Bank of Montreal building (now the Hockey Hall of Fame) on the left.
