How so? Isn't this affordable housing anyway, and therefore will fit in with the area?
What I meant was that the influx of about 1000 units will increase what was a declining area in terms of overall population. Also it will increase the proportion of folks living in high-rise settings. Finally the extra residents should continue the (rapid) evolution of western Dupont into an interesting strip of restaurants, bars and cafés!
 
The daycare cladding has started to go up...

The units in the first phase must be nearing occupancy. This will be a real boost to this part of Dupont.
