Wrong thread for the Ace Hotel, but I spy some of the long awaited black trim above the windows

Looks like that's new in the past few weeks:

Stunning wood. We need more of that in Toronto but I find the colour of the wood doesn’t go perfectly with that colour red. . knowing shim-sutcliffe, they are probably going to want that wood to patina to a silvery grey. could be wrong. also, am i mistaken, or did a large cantilevering canopy...

I biked by last night and the restaurant space looked even better at night lit up. Very New York vibe. That combined with the illuminated waterworks sign and the redone park are really making this area quite nice.

Ill try and get a pic next time.

Well guess I don't need to hold my breath any longer for the brise soleil above each window. Still a pretty looking building though!
