Are you heading into the floodway, north of Eglinton, next?
I know it's not really a "trail," per se, but if the water's low it's definitely walkable - and definitely interesting!

Great shots! I back onto that beautiful park. If you look closely, particularly of the shots on the north end south of Eglinton, you can see the trees uprooted by the high water during the July 8 storm. First try of posting some shots during the storm.

I hadn't planned on it just because we were going to walk the rest of the creek south to the lake first and then with so many trails on the horizon, I'm not sure time would permit.

Thanks Westdeaner! And thanks for adding those shots from the flood. It is incredible but so frightening to see the park under water like that. The trail along the creek definitely showed signs of it when we walked it.

This next installment takes place at Berry Road Park and heads north along Mimico Creek. The trail and the walls of the creek were hit hard from the flood so we had to cut our walk short at around Ridgegate Crescent. The trail was literally washed away at that point. I really kick myself for not walking this trail earlier as it is so close to me and even with the evident damage from the flood, it still looked so peaceful and so removed from the city. We made a quick attemt to walk south right after but soon discovered it wasn't going to happen. Another walker on the trail mentioned that the bridge to the south was too damaged to walk. Regardless of the damage from the flood, this trails' beauty shone through.
