not to mention, Massey Tower. This view will seem a lot more balanced/dense downtown core(ish) once the two are built, adding a new dimension of height along Yonge street to the lake. it's all good :D

Massey will no doubt provide the mass needed.

Probably to accomodate mechanical equipment. You need a bunch of booster pumps for water every 11-12 floors and I imagine the owners on those levels would still like their ceiling heights intact.

So do you figure we should be expecting louvers on that floor?

Not too likely that it will be that noticeable. Many new towers have some mechanicals part of the way up and it doesn't cause that floor to 'stand out' or look to different. I was on a hard-hat tour in the Cinema Tower the other day and they've done the same thing on one of the middle floors but you would hardly if at all notice this from the outside.

Awesome! How did you manage to get the hardhat tour? i would love to tour an under construction building!

If they keep up a floor a week for the next year, this won't be topped out until the end of August next year! Wow, this thing is gonna be massive.

Hey SomeMidTowner - Those pics with the scary sky are really cool! Looks like Gotham City. Thanks!
