Those pallets are all grey granite pavers. They are going to move quickly if they are going to get some areas paved this fall.

I think these are pavers REMOVED from the park and being saved for eleswhere.

EDIT: They ARE the old pavers and today they started to take off and remove the granite cladding of the old fountain.

Are they still planning on repaving Scott street I recall there was a prosoal for that as well.

Lots of the silva cells had been installed on the Southwest corner when we walked by on Friday afternoon.

Yes, creating a "Market Streetesque" block of Scott is part of the plan for 2016. Bell are supposedly starting work soon to install new conduits on Scott ahead of the upgrade project and plans are underway to improve Wellington in 2017. (In 2016 the City will be laying a new watermain on Wellington so the fixin' up of that street (including new streetcar track) will not happen until 2017.)
