^rather large wedding cakish podium with a tall skinny tower on top ... yeah, I see it.

Why is the cladding and the rest of the outside walls so far behind the floors? Casa is already clad higher than BSN.

Good question. I read somewhere that they like the cladding to be no more than 8 floors behind the construction. These guys are 16 floors behind.

Gotham profile?

Gotham is a nickname for New York. The "Gotham profile" refers to the ziggurat-like stepbacks that architects incorporated into the design of Manhattan skyscrapers following a bylaw in the early 1900s that was meant to allow daylight to filter to the street through highrise canyons.

The design of BSN is very reminiscent of this, hence the reference to a "Gotham profile".

I had a hunch that's what it meant. Thanks for the info.
