There's nothing wrong with the Shedboatshed approach to designing versatile buildings, surely? The British appear to have got it right with their Olympic stadium, which can be disassembled after the games to form a smaller, more apropriate building rather than see it sit disused like those overpriced starchitect-designed punchlines the Chinese built for their Olympics.
