A contractor at the Charlie site inadvertently cut into a natural gas line yesterday and caused a significant leak. Enbridge got there within minutes, but couldn't find the shut-off valves. Tucker Hi Rise said they managed to turn it off by around 3PM

This is the most non-descript of non-descript towers. I can't even descript it. Is it descriptable? Non.

I ride past it every day and, seeing this thread, realized I have no idea where its construction is at or what it looks like. It's one thing to be clean and classy (see: RBC Dexia); it's another thing to fade completely into a dark smudge on the skyline.

RBC Dexia doesn't look clean to me and is a poor example of modernist lines. The podium brise-soleils are messy, the tower's zipper/gap is awkwardly resolved at its top, among other issues.

Charlie does fade to the background, but once again, not every tower is made to stand out. I agree that it's very timeless and classy. Very well-proportioned too.
