Nope, it is not my opinion but obvious reality. This is not an EC location problem. "Microsoft's won't say how many people visit its stores, but It's not uncommon to see workers outnumber customers at the San Francisco location"

Microsoft is being very arrogant and unwilling to concede to Apple when it comes to physical retail.

If Microsoft were smart, it should convert some of its locations to Xbox gaming centres.

Even right now, the Microsoft stores sometimes host video game tournaments.

If this concept becomes successful, the Sony Store could return, albeit for PlayStation tournaments (Xperia phones are going the way of the dodo), while Nintendo can expand outside of midtown Manhattan.

More competition is better for the consumer.
